Spoil everyone ....Some people love to cook everyday when they are on holiday. Some love to eat out 14 times a week. Some people cook at home, and would like a break sometimes on holiday. And some people are a mixture of all the above. |

We are lucky enough to have the services of a wonderful chef, who when he is not teaching people how to ski or paraglide, (he can do that too for you, if you like dangerous sports !!), cooks for us at home in Spain, and can usually be persuaded to cook for you too. It's good for me too, because that way I don't lose him. I think he is a very good chef, and many house visitors have expressed views along the lines of, "Well, why stay in a hotel, or eat out in fancy restaurants in Granada every night, when actually you can eat better on the balconies and terraces of the villa Carmen de Santa Ana ? And nowhere has a view like this". Testimonials |

Here's what the chef says himself:
"My services as a private cook are available to you during your stay at Santa Ana. With a lot of experience in cooking for families in Spain, France and Australia as well as restaurant experience in France and Australia, I aim to cook appropriate food using a variety of styles including some of the local delicacies and flavours. I am able to provide all or some of the meals during your stay depending on what you require.
" My services include any or all of the following:
|
in the fish market |
|
"Each day I go to the local markets and buy the fresh fruit and vegetables in the Plaza Larga market, Albaicin, where there has been a market for over a thousand years, and to the market of Saint Agustin near the Cathedral where I buy meat and fresh fish. There is also the possibility of using some of the freshest produce from my own vegetable garden. I can also provide picnic lunches, and cakes and slices for morning or afternoon tea. If you would like me to match the most appropriate wine with my food this can also be arranged. I can also arrange for the fridge and pantry to be stocked with some basic supplies, as well as fresh fruit and fresh cut flowers for your arrival".
If you are hoping to have a wedding reception in the gardens, he can organise wonderful food for your party.
Although I obviously can't provide any guarantees on his behalf, I can put you in touch directly with the cook, so you can sort out your needs with him, and work out the financial side with him. He speaks English and Spanish.
Write to him here if you would like to ask about his services, or receive some sample menus. See here what previous visitors have said.
Thai Yoga massage is very special. While in Granada, would you and your fellow visitors like a Thai Yoga masseuse to visit the house, and help your body get into a relaxed holiday state ? Find out more.....
Niki was introduced to me by the chef. She is a highly qualified Thai Yoga masseuse, and is on call to provide treatments both in the Carmen de Santa Ana, or in her retreat situated on the Moorish hill of the Sacromonte with incredible views of the Alhambra.
Thai Yoga is said to be very therapeutic, and we are lucky to have Niki's services available. For more information or booking details get in touch with her directly...click here. She does get quite busy, so don't leave it too late.
